Just another brick (read:characterless smartphone) fragmenting the market. Wonder if anyone want a LG smartphone in the first place?

Don't ever buy LG they don't update their phones!
I'm still waiting for my G-Slate it's their only tablet they don't want to update it to 3.2 they don't even want to open the bootloader So we can update it with custom roms!

[deleted post]I think iPhone 4S have worse "build-quality" because it will not even survive a simple accidental drop from shoulder height!

Whachasay, 12 Nov 2011Oh great. Another character-less, rectangular black slab. ... moreThe only "difference" is that Nokia rectangular "slabs" are blue..., but every WP7 is identical and they all can use the "hacked" Nokia maps and Nokia Drive and Nokia Music!

Oh great. Another character-less, rectangular black slab. This is one of the reason I miss feature phones. At least they had some pizazz. I hope Nokia is able to bring their phones to the US quickly. At least then we'll get some type of variety.

ios fans are really annoying, you compare everything with ios and remember the first touchcreen phone was not ios, samsung it is better than lg; but lg and htc has more identity on their products than samsung; stop comparing everything with galaxy s; lg and htc does not copy any brand

I love the "plastic piece of junk" comments. But drop a "plastic piece of junk" and drop an iphone and which one survives?

Looks nice phone very similar to Motorola high class phones RAZR or DROID. Unfortunately I am since 1998 years never buy Motorola, LG, Samsung, , HTC, iPhone. So and again this even nice design but not my phone. BTW, LG, please do improve on your all phones photo camera sensor quality then maybe I will buy if you become best photo camera brand. Good Luck!

[deleted post]You know nothing about CPUs. Having dual cores does not make the battery drain faster. You have to think if the chip is 28nm, 40nm or 48nm. You always need to take in account if the SoC is synchronous or asynchronous. Android OS itself is a software, Android devices have hardware fragmentation. Thus each Android device will have different battery life.

Hippocrates, the design of HTC Ville is non better than this and this phone has a stock UI which us more direct, simple and easy to use.

Sometimes, plain black is the way to go.

Wow, it's sad to see companies are not even striving to differentiate their products... Look at this phone! Looks like every other Motorola/android device! And the overlay? Looks like a Touchwiz ripoff!

Another no-personality android phone. 4,5 screen is just toooo much. Cant handle with one hand grip. This is just for mega sixe handed people and for number focused users. Not for people who wants a phone that can deliver on the road and in the bar..
