Even with most luxurious leather cases available.
And about the concierge you could eread it over an internet so i have no proof its from your own information or mind :-)

OOT aside, i have yet to see any Vertu phone in real life

Well to be Honest.
Vertu was used in fifty shades movie.
Vertu is the only brand in existence using Concierge. (I bet my whole salary noone or 95% of you have no idea whats that is)
And finaly Vertu was it is and always will be a SuperB premium brand. (A lot more premium than a Gresso for example and i am sure noone knows gresso)
Apple and Samsung are for everybody who can afford it but people who are scary rich needs something more than an obsollete Samsung or Apple which everybody have.
In this case Vertu fits very well.
Who never had or saw Vertuin real will never understands what PREMIUM really means.
Other brands cant compete no matter what.

Yeah, they were overpriced, but they were trying to sell a service aswell (a 24/7 assistant, if I remember well). Maybe getting rid of it will ground their prices enough to start selling again.

I think something isn't right. Just now they mention that the label is " handmade in Europe", but in that case, they didn't mentioned that it's legit going to be made in Europe. So in my opinion, it's just a label that the vertu phones are going to made in Europe, but no... it will beade in China!!!!

Vertu will barely get sales because of its very overpricing trend.
They can never get back on track due to the fact that there are many smartphones available that are less pricey in the oversaturated cellphone market.

With the recent trend to increase screen size and decrease bezels, and also flexible screens looming over the horizon, the actual shape of a smartphone is going to get seriously different.

Current phones are all made of glass while Vertu uses steel, leather, sapphire, jewels etc, and there's a lot of "handmade" in them. You can buy a premium Rolex, but Rolex makes a million watches a year. Or you could buy a Lange, Vacheron, Patek etc with visible hand-engraved movements that are hand-made in thousands per year.
The only problem is that a watch lasts for decades while a phone gets obsolete within months. If Vertu could make a phone where you could upgrade the internals every few years (processor, RAM, camera module etc), while keeping the steel/gold/whatever case, that would be something.
