Anonymous, 18 Oct 2018What about the one LG made for the Pixel 2XL? Maybe that wa... moreWell thats possible.
For example J3 made by samsung also dont have perfect screen compared to one used in galaxy note 9.
And anyway Razer 1-2 share same screen its LCD but its the best possble phone can have.
In case of Razer 2 is even better with over 650 nits its the brightest screen any phone ever had.
And compared LCD to Amoled. Amoled after heavy usage leaves trails or traces burnt in to the panel.
LCD doesnt.

although any screen on a high end device is plenty good enough these days.

Well LG were always far ahead before samsung in screens.
So Anything made by LG will beat Samsung like when elder kids bully younger ones.

Sure... Like the notchless Z5... C'mon guys, you shouldn't believe anything what Lenovo says before you have the device in your hand.

"That is because with a phone the screen is hidden when folded."
Not so. You made an unsubstantiated assumption about which why it folds. What's wrong with a both-sides-are-a-screen-when-folded phone? The screen would actually "like" the larger bend radius more than a "screen inside" folder would...

"You might already be tired of reading rumors about foldable"

That's very true. Indeed, LG Display had demoed foldable screens years ago as a concept, but this never materialised into a device that people can get their hands on (limited edition or otherwise).

Sure, Samsung is on track to deliver a foldable smartphone soon, but I'll take this news with a good dose of salt, especially knowing that... Ahem... Lienovo is involved.

Well... title is wrong - it's bendable screen. Because if you give me that thing to show you what word fold really means - it will crack/snap or simply get broken.

Well at least Lenovo shows off some more prominent prototypes.... but like the last couple things.... will it ever come to light before others??

It supposed to be a 5 inch phone when unfold that is a 10 inch tab. In that way that is useful. 9 to 13 is pointless because both in tablet size.

You can use it as a screen and you can wrap your sandwich with it!
Devices will be more portable when folded? No they will get narrower but also much thicker.
