So would say that soc, but games last so long that long term speed is more important than burst speed, so very good cooling is the most essential if you wan to maintain the high speed as long as possible, not just a couple of minutes.

Then you're kind of miss my point.
The price… man, the price. And the time too.
So just how many game(s) are you gonna download and play each and everyday?
Even if there are ported game from console ( like the one mentioned down there by someone - with 8GB of game data). You won't be play many game that needed that much of game data. Cause most people are only focus on 1 or 2 ( or 3, and 4 top).
As for other specs/feature, it isn't like you can fully experience it with every sense. It is just the battery and the cooling that you needed the most if you're playing any game while outside of the house!

But…If the hardware is capable of doing everything that the other guys can, like runs all the game without lag and all the app smoothly( minus a few features). Then that's it, I would rather the get a cheaper one( even if it is just 64GB to begin with).
Also, it is mobile games after all, they aren't that big( the biggest one I encountered it so far is 3 or 4GB of game data with everything downloaded). So, how many of these games are you gonna download/play. You can't really play more than 5( and definitely not 10).
At end, you're going to just play a few games that you really like ( and not to mention that how much time it is going to take up if you're playing more 3 or 4 games a day, everyday).

Generally when one goes for gaming devices (laptops, PC's, smartphones and accessories), you buy one of best possible device, irrespective of price (They are generally expensive than the average devices, like they are meant to be)
But I respectfully accept your opinion. :)

ROG Phone has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and 128 GB starting internal storage, going upto 512 GB. It's the best so-called gaming phone out there.
Razer phone 2 does not have the above but at least has a microSD card slot.
The Black Shark has neither 3.5 mm nor an SD card slot. A gaming phone starting with 64GB internal storage and no support for expandable microSD card slot. A gaming phone where you can't directly connect your gaming headphones.
If the Black Shark 2 does not correct it's shortcomings, it will get mauled by the killer whale known as "ROG Phone"! :D
