Want to know how it's then 6+

probably copying Huawei's night mode and calling it 'innovation'

It might turn out to be one huge gimmick.

Before someone decided to turn HDR into post processing, instead of what it's meant to be, combining multiple photos with different exposure times and merging into one. But your average consumer wants to snap a photo in 1/25 of a second while having "HDR" which made all the phone companies make a fake "HDR" where its just processing, the same you would do in an editing app.

They always claim this and it always turns out to be bogus.
Remember the 5T and it's special 'low light sensor'? Turned out to be worse at low-light than the 5.
OnePlus make some fine phones for the price but the cameras have always been the weak link. I wouldn't mind that much, if they didn't always pull stuff like this and brag about the camera.

I'm confused about the camera setup as even GSMArena has contradictory information.
In this article they say it will be 16+20MP (like the OP6) but on the OP6T specs page is the 12+20MP setup like on the OPPO R17pro.
I hope for the R17pro setup, as the main sensor from that seems to be the same one on the S9 that would be a significant upgrade over the one on OP6. OP always had the main camera sensor from latest R1x pro in the past so the same should be true for OP6T.

I'm in the market for a new phone.. and was looking at OnePlus. The 6 isn't an option with it's notch, which I dispise. So I patiently waited for the 6t with the 'drop' notch which is 'more acceptable' but leaving the 3,5mm jack out is an instant anti-buy for me. Sadly.

Hopefully, it will be nearly as good as Huawei's Night Mode or Pixel's HDR+. Because OnePlus has a history of over-promising and under-delivering.

Still, the omission of the versatile 3.5 mm headphone jack is a huge deal-breaker.
