The short one might be an indication that iPad Pro will be USB-C based. If true, then its likely that iPhone 11 will also be USB-C rather than Lightning.

Timing wise is not bad either. Lightning is now 7 years old.

AnonD-558092, 19 Oct 20180.3m at 30$. 2m at 200$? That would make me laughActually. It's 5$ more for 1m and 15$ more (from 29) for 2m) Fairly reasonable for me.
However if it was like you specified. I'd laugh so hard!

Curtisjr1, 19 Oct 2018Apple sucks"Eh. I have both products and personally would rather use Android...
HOWEVER. I wouldn't call Apple a "sucks" company.
Sure. There are things to dislike about them like the Irreasonable sticking to a propertiary connector, and no reason at all for removing a headphone jack to have the phone resistant to water. And not to forget the Closed OS. However there are a few good things. It's not all bad...
as an android user from pretty much the firstcday it was born. I don't recall it has a built in "Restriction" System. That could prevent doing stuff (like installing apps, deleting. And other stuff) Ofcourse, there are 3rd Party apps for that. But iOS has it built in. And pretty extensive at that. In 12 it was switched out for contol use.
Another thing that iOS has is privacy system. Was caught up by Android in Marshmellow.
The ability to select permissions wasn't built in on android until 6.
                  And there are more.
Never call a brand "Bad" until you've actually used it. No brand and no OS is perfect. Please take it onto consideration.

                    Apple sucks"

Any word on the AirPower mat that Apple so proudly showed off last year in September 2017?

Or is it still "Coming Soon...."
