eBay now lets you sell your phone without waiting with Instant Selling

No more waiting for auctions to finish or listings to be sold and promises more than other trade-in programs. There is a catch, though.

Smh I am selling an iPhone 8 Plus used but in almost new condition and if I want to use the eBay instant selling option I will not get more than $300 for that phone while if I sell it myself I can sell it at at least $500

    I wonder if and when this will be available in UK... It doesn't seem terrible judging by the amount it pays, it's also not the greatest. IMO it's always good to have 'another' option if all goes wrong and you need to make up for a new phone quickly.

    Also, does anyone know if this 'instant sale' has the normal eBay, PayPal fees in it? On eBay's website I didn't see anything.

Technology moves fast and for a 4yrs old phone is more like a decade old phone. And it must be an Android phone. Those are really bad at keeping it's value.
