In many countries in East and Southeast Asia, people love to use these beauty filters with their selfie cameras. That's one of the reasons why brands like Oppo and Vivo have high sales in these countries.

Never hear anything about problems with Note 8 you said. And with other android problems you described.
Only thing i know is Samsung same as apple confirmed the slow down the older devices va updates.
But to your credit i like Samsung as much as Apple.
For past 10 years had many china made phones such as Lenovo Motorola Xiaomi or Huawei and was more than satisfied.
They cost much less but works like a fresh new Bentley or Buggatti.
No problems.
Samsung or apple maybe are top brands in case of sales but in case of quality of the products and way the company deals with problemms errors bugs and how they fix them they are last on the track.

Actually no I haven't heard about this, so please provide a link from a reputable source.
If I bought this unit in the U.K. for £849, I can return it within in a month if I'm not entirely satisfied, and a 2 year warranty if I decide to keep it.

Even last year's note 8 has an on going problem not letting alot of users charge the phone through the charging port and they are forced to use a charging mat only Bcuz the phone incorrectly detects moist in the charging port! It's too funny but fandroids always complain about apple instead. It's too funny :D

Beauty of iOS and Apple. Problem found, solved, distributed via update, everyone gets it.
Android should move towards this model, and Pixel is a good example.

Once again, Apple get things fixed ASAP. Android makers should be ashamed comparing to Apple responses. Including Google and their Pixel lines. Why wouldn't people be paying for the expensive iPhone when there are such excellent after sales services from Apple!

Strong and well thought “words” can tell it to use the non-broken leg to hop forward. People in front end knows nothing, just that it has work as before.
Space satellite and machines hardwares fails as well, It is software that allows it to go beyond its limits.

Finally, proof that beauty-gate is real. Stiill, as with all liars, Apple calls it 'unintentional' smoothening and blurring/loss of facial details due to lower ISO, 'motion blur' and HDR processing. Really, Apple? An aggressive noise reduction and tone mapping happening only when a face is detected in the scene? Who are you fooling? Liar!
