AnonD-731363, 24 Oct 2018For whats good are theses if we can use TV or PC monitor in... moreImagine you are looking at your TV, showing a room. Translate that to a VR Heaset and your eyes are tricked into making it seem to you that you are actually in the room - as you turn your head you can look to the sides, and behind , up at the ceiling, down at the floor so you the whole room, not just an image of part of it. That is with proper VR content. If you are using it to watch a movie, the image can appear to be the size of a movie theater screen, not a little 50" TV.
Really, reading about it is inadequate, you need to actually experience it.

I am still awaiting dual 4k+ screens.
I would also like to see the Movie industry see the potential in "VR" headsets, and start releasing 4K3D movies.... Posssibly 4K+3D for Imax like experience.
HDR and high framerate.
The format also need support for connecting multiple units despite copyright protection, for social movie watching.
AR support with cameras on the headset, for social watching, and reaching for the snack bowl and such.
