24 October 2018
Unsurprisingly, the results are similar to the OnePlus 6 performance.

The iPhone 6s / SE scores the same for single. Android chips are really years behind. My iPhone 8plus scores 4200 single and 10400 multi. And that’s last year’s A11

My OnePlus 6 scores close to 9500 on multi-thread. Someone needs to re-run the test.

Carlos, 24 Oct 2018Have a OP5, will wait for OP7. This 6T is just a refresh... moreGood choice, but don't limit yourself to only one company/brand.
When it comes time to renew/upgrade see all the alternatives and competition. In essence, don't follow blindly as it gains you nothing but can cost you a lot.

One thing I did notice is that OnePlus is getting worse over time, see their history:
                1) $349, 04/2014, 3GB/64GB, QSD 801, LCD, Plastic, OnePlus One (BEST VALUE)
                2) $399, 06/2016, 6GB/64GB, QSD 820, OLED, Aluminium, OnePlus 3.
                3) $479, 11/2016, 6GB/128GB, QSD 821, OLED, Aluminium, OnePlus 3t.
                4) $539, 05/2017, 8GB/128GB, QSD 835, OLED, +Aluminium, OnePlus 5.
                5) $390*, 08/2015, 4GB/64GB, QSD 810, LCD, Plastic, OnePlus 2*
                6) $559, 12/2017, 8GB/128GB, QSD 835, OLED, +Aluminium, OnePlus 5t.
                7) $629, 05/2018, 8GB/256GB, QSD 845, OLED, Glass, OnePlus 6.
                8) $649(?), 11/2018, 8GB/256GB, QSD 845, OLED, Glass, No Headphone Jack, OnePlus 6t.
                (WORST VALUE)

                ...see a trend?
OnePlus has been halting the improvements over the years while simultaneously increasing the prices. So each iteration was worse than the one it replaced, from a value perspective. The only outlier* is the OnePlus 2 which was plagued with the infamous low battery life issue, the horrible QSD 810 chipset, and that nonsense CyanogenInc debacle.

And the makers of OnePlus may trick some into believing them, but not everybody.

For comparison, the vivo NEX S is a flagship which has a larger 4000 mAh battery, screen without an ugly intrusive notch, an under-display fingerprint scanner and also a 3.5 mm headphone jack. So, OnePlus is misleading you.

The single-core performance is so low compared to the Note 9.

The notch, the lack of the 3.5 mm headphone jack and the microSD card slot makes the OnePlus 6T very unappealing.

                                    Impressive.
