Your one segment approach can be done if a company really targets just one segment, like Apple or OnePlus, where Xiaomi doesn't. Even in the same segment not all people agree to one particular choice. So, in order to fulfill the purpose of conquering the market by market share (not by profit), the strategy of releasing a lot of phones in different segments must be used, even more, segments other than flagships get next iteration twice as fast. This is required because the profit margin is so low in those segments. It's not always technical decision, more of than not, it's economical.

Dear anti-chin people, if you're willing to help Xiaomi (or any other companies other than Apple) to pay Apple for the patented curved screen digitizer design, you can have no chin phone. Otherwise, don't complain. Xiaomi can do that but the expense would be the phone price, which Xiaomi users won't like.

like i keep saying. too many phones in the market and they won't upgrade them. but thanks to Google for stepping up and enforcing some rules. this will make OEMS like Xiaomi to stop releasing unnecessary phones and spend time delivering updates and upgrades on existing models. why not just have like 4 phones in a year to serve different consumer taste and give customer satisfaction.

what happened to the indisplay fingerprint reader. that would have just put this phone right over the top. now we'll have to wait until mi mix 3s!

Unsolved Mistry, 25 Oct 2018This is going to be awesomewhat is awesome on mi mix 3? i didnt get point.. bcs it is almost same as mix 2s(look at glassy back with rear fingerprint scanner.. and from front totally common ordinary budget cheap ips lcd display same like mix2s had... neither promised 2k amoled display from samsung neither promised built in fingerprint scanner..one change? added slider system on selfie camera?hahah dont be silly....mix 3 is one big shame and disapointing from xiaomi! i want ASAP Hugo Barra back as head and director of xiaomi was a way way much better!

Hmm.. I'm curious about the price of 6/128. I dont think 10GB RAM is right for me (at least for today smartphone tech n app feature). It makes also the 10GB RAM variant much pricier.
