My Wife is Chinese so to download apps and plugins to translate the Mate 20X and give it the Android Play Store is nothing. But the lack of extra LTE bands is kind of hurting me from getting the phone. At the end of the day, it's a phone and you'd want it to function perfectly...as a phone. Decisions decisions....

Even after paying 680 Euros... You don't deserves the Fingerprint Scanner...
I believe it will totally rely on Face Unlock and there will be no Physical Fingerprint Scanner on the back... Because by that they will need to drill a hole at the back also might need to rearrange the internals... It will be easy to remove the component than adding...
Dear Huawei, in your country Oppo and Vivo offers Underscreen Fingerprint scanner in 250$ Phone...

AnonD-632062, 26 Oct 2018The Mate 20X is awesome. It would have been nearly perfect ... moreit has no physical fingerprint scanner but it has under the display fingerprint scanner, i dont like not having a separate slot for micro sd too and going for nano sd instead.. nano might cost a fortune

That is shame on them. Especially since they are Chinese brand. You would think they want to avoid being called copy-cats but their actions say otherwise.

The Mate 20X is awesome. It would have been nearly perfect if it removed the notch and had a microSD card slot.
But why would Huawei offer the Mate 20 Pro without a fingerprint scanner. It doesn't make any sense, unless they are trying to make the Mate 20 Pro a perfect copy of the iPhone, with a big intrusive notch, no 3.5 mm headphone jack, no microSD card slot and no fingerprint scanner either.

You pay thousands for a device to do things like messages and talk and social media. Same things you could do with a similar device for 200 dollars / euros. But you won't have something to show of. That's what is hurting your ego.
