This brand new cost 550. After 9 months like now is S9 it will cost mmaybe 400 so is cheaper than copycat Scamsung.
Rather have Oneplus with pure android than Samsung with tons of bloatware and useless apps. Which will gets slowed over time via updates.

New Versions increase drop strength, but also easier to scratch. Long ago, its feasible to go screen protector free, and be careful not to drop it.
But now, screen protectors are a must. Because micro scratches is very very common.

Good to know they've used Gorilla Glass 6 instead of 5. OnePlus phones usually cut corners in their hardware, but not in the display protection at least.
