Lines for the OnePlus 6T were longer than the ones for the iPhones, says T-Mobile

31 October 2018
The response to the new flagship is strongly positive, perhaps in no small part thanks to the $300 trade-in deal.

If you converted 529 $ to INR in May, when Oneplus 6 was launched, it was around 35,000 so that was the price for India. But now you convert 529 $ to INR it is around 38,000 so the increase.

They kept the same prices for rest of other markets but increased the price by 3000 INR in India. Also, have no great offers...

It makes about $10bn every quarter from their services,
App store, cloud storage and music streaming.

Yeah, hopefully competition (also Microsoft & others in the Tablet/ Laptop sector) will make their prices more competitive/ reasonable in future, but it's up to them ;)

as for the TMobile employee, why so concerned about it? atleast they have a job while others just keep asking for money from their parents or even people that're not related to them

Preorder online is where the money’s at, standing in lines is all for show and a marketing stunt.

not bad for those who don't want to pay full price directly from manufacturer. but if i was a fan, no way am i buying anything from carrier. they put all their bloatwares and prevent you from doing what yiu want with your phone. Here in America, people have been made ro rely so much on contract phones but am not part of that statistics. i use only unlocked from manufacturer if it means importing the phone of my choice.

what employee? the cleaning lady? the electrician? the teenager who works part time to pay for his video game addiction?

i really hope someone finally dethrones apple and all its blind sheep, but "a tmobile emplyee" is hardly an authority on the matter. it's like me saying you have cancer, but i am not a doctor

Unlike those Chinese companies and T-Mobile, Apple and Samsung don’t do flash sale and encourage everyone to order online. No need to be treated like an idiot begging for invites and wait in long line on Halloween night to get a phone.

Not surprising because Apple was trying to play the same game they did in 2016 to one-up the One Plus, while Google sat on their laurels and released a phone with a hideous ticket stub for a display that has features "coming soon".

This is insane. If Huawei wasn't building 5G infrastructure around the world they would be in there too. And yet why has ZTE been let back in? I genuinely don't know.

To all techie people who helped this company takeoff the ground and get to where they are now, you are no longer needed.

Market is driven by people now who swallow up everything new that is pushed to them.

Sad but true. Even if it is insulting.

They need to focus on pure Android with some additional features.
