    Lmao these fanboys complaining about everything. When apple does a good job they make excuses about that much performance being useless. Usual fanboy quotes...if any company thats not apple did this they would be wet right now.

    Look guys if the customer wants a tablet for media consumption they would buy the 300$ ipad 6. This ipad is not really meant for media consumption.

    And the funny thing is that that 300$ ipad gives you the same performance as the 650$ Samsung galaxy tab 4.

    Say what you gotta say to protect your favorite company but apple actually does a great job in tablet department.

The HUGE number of optimised apps for the iPad easily outnumbers Android. Surface Pro may run full app version but a lot of these apps aren't even optimised for TOUCH so the table aspect of the Surface Pro is negated.

            The complete truth:
            No amount of processor power in an iPad will change the fact it's only being used by most for Facebook and Youtube only. Get an i7 7700hq ultra convertible Windows 10 laptop and OBLITERATE the new iPad Pro in terms of SPEED, PROCESSING POWER, USABILITY, FLEXIBILITY, UPGRADABILITY, overall VERSATILITY, PRODUCTIVITY and PRICE. There, that's the whole complete truth and not the catchy but partial, incomplete truth the title of this article would like you to believe.

            Take home message: Stop wasting money on an iPad/ iPad Pro with 'liquid retina' and 'apple pencil 2' (Wow, such ludicrous marketing terms!). Get a supersized android phone/phablet AND an i7 7700hq Windows 10 ultra convertible laptop. It makes more sense than wasting money on a fixed storage, sealed battery, annually disposable iPad Pro tablet, Apple Pencil 2, and other obscenely priced disposable, non-upgradeable, restrictive and limited, Apple devices and accessories.

                          "THIS Ax chipset is X percents more powerful while Y percents more power efficient comparing to the previous gen!!1" that's their style.
                          A good example:
                          "Up to 15% faster performance cores!" (and indeed: 4200x1.15=4830 which is the LOWEST score ever found on an A12 device)
                          "Up to 50% faster graphics performance" (Quite correct: the A12 compared to A11 in GFXBench is indeed 43% better, which is IN RANGE of what they say)

To be honest, it looks like if it continue like that Apple will start to put their processors in macbooks, it is very bad times coming for Intel, if they not going to do anything about their architectures, cause much less power hungry chips performing better than their power hungry chips.

                                If A12x was faster than Intel i5 and i7 they would be using it in their Macs, MacBook pro and Macbooks. But they don't, SMH.

No. Surface tablets are horrible, having weak cpu running full fledget windows 10, experience are horrible. Ipad is designed as tablet running light iOS. Yes it cant match in core functionality full fledget windows 10, but if developers will port full deaktop Apps like Photoshop, this litlle beast will destroy any windows 10 tablet. It is already multimedia beast just need right Apps. This device can easely run any PC demanding game if developers will be keen to port it like GTA 5 or any other modern game, windows 10 tablets can only dream about it.

I am a DJ. along other stuff. and I love to tweak my music on Garage band. (sure. there are excellent alternative like SoundCamp) So DESPITE MY HATRED for iOS. I love using their iPads and iPhones when doing my music composing. the latency is stupid low. (and by stupid low. the measures I've added rate it at 0.00002s just 2 units above measurability in the stopwatch I've added) It's a pleasure to work with it and the preformance it offers for composers like me. (when I don't do coding or management tasks) is simply a dream. I wish I could have such a beast on android.
