You can get better. Oppo, Vivo and even Huawei more precisely their Honor ones. The Nova 3 and Honor 10 is much better than the Xiaomi Mi 8. I bought one and sold it after a week. I am now rocking a Honor 10. Granted it is not AMOLED but I feel it is much better in so many ways than Xiaomi. I get updates after updates with more added function each time. It is an exciting phone compared to the supposed Xiaomi 8 flagship. Xiaomi is not what it used to be anymore. They think customers are fools

I dont know where do people get this ads on the settings thing. If i would know only where do i see these ads i would look them up, but i just dont find anything.

Then other types of people talk about China spying on you. Sorry but every app you install wants you to accept that they are spying on your cause otherwise they wont let you even use there apps.

While few times a year there is Apple IOS update that have serious security flaws and so on. I dont see people whine about it. But when it comes to low budget brands then it's all bad in every possible way.

Photos are bad in low light, but very nice with good light. I hate only CPU thermal issue, when I play some games on ultra high details, after 10 minutes cpu is overheated and downclocked. And settings menu, is that where you spend your time? Really?

Both iphone and Pixels comes pre-loaded with apps to make money off of you btw. From browser to music/meadia apps.

"seriously Xiaomi, I am glad not buy you"
Buying Xiaomi is more than likely out of your reach. A certian amount of billion dollars isn't pocket change.

                                "No offense boy,"
                                Laughable

"I can afford iPhone but still rational people, not to much spent money for same amount functionality."

This sentence is unintelligible. I can also afford iphone, many even, but I don't support child labour nor gross misuse against work force. Also I want a smartphone and iphone is still more like a feature phone.

I'm in the market for a new phone now and deciding between Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, Honor Magic 2 and Lenovo Z5 Pro as my next phone. Sadly there's not enough information available yet to amke a decision.

If you can afford an iphone, then you can afford any android flagship, so focus on that rather than trolling on budget devices, trying to make yourself look big - though ending up looking like a fool.

It seems a lot of people buying flagship devices feel offended that now, with Pocophone, because they can't anymore boast the performance card over budget devices. This behaviour is really pathetic.

The Pocophone F1 is a truly great device, but it's not the one for me as I don't approve of notches and I wan't a bezel less device next. Notches ruing this experience, particularly the bigger ones. I hope the F2 will get rid of the notch, or at least get a teardrop notch. Slider and/or pop-up cam would probably be difficult if keeping it's price point, and I hope it will continue to do.

I would advise people to stay away from Xiaomi phones. Go have a look at the Mi8 forum. Lots of complaints. The camera quality s*cks.. I do not know which Mi8 GSMARENA tested but mine is far from the review here. The battery is horrible and the GPS is still extremely unreliable. Am I am not alone in this. Go browse the Mi8 forum. Huawei, OnePlus treats its flagship like a proper flagship. More features added updates after updates. Meanwhile Xiaomi is busy releasing a new phone each week with buggy software. Way to go Xiaomi!

And Mi Note 2 I use personally, I recently installed Lineage and the phone is even faster, and you have the clean Android many wish for.
I intend to install Lineage on my wife's and my daughter's phone too, even if MIUI is not bad, we seem to like Lineage better, and adds snappiness to the phones.
I guess that is one reason to buy Xiaomi, powerful hardware at a very reasonable price and you can install a fast ROM like Lineage and unleash the full potential of that hardware.
