I am holding out until the Snapdragon 855 starts showing up in flagships, before I seek out a new handset .

I don't believe half of the readers here have a OnePlus phone.

I actually prefer the red OnePlus 6. Only because it comes in that color, headphone jack, and it's cheaper now. I don't really care for that fingerprint reader. I'm just not interested in any phone right now. My next phone is probably some cheap Android One or Moto that can replace my Moto E4 for GPS use. I want Pie. My E4 is still stuck on Nougat.
I realized the daunting task of manually changing the song titles last night. If I keep buying newer phones, I have the tedious task of editing those songs over and over. Don't forget certain apps. Imagine having to update them. There are times I forget to update apps on certain phones. My E4 doesn't really have much media. I'm not an OCD completist with it because I know it's a throwaway phone.
I've used a music tag app to edit songs and it still won't show up correctly on Pi Music Player. Like I mentioned before, it's actually easier on iOS but you need the songs stored onto the computer and it becomes one and done. But it's the other hoops we need to jump through. I hate that iOS doesn't have a file manager. I use it daily for Android.
I think the OnePlus 6T is a great bargain. Just don't like the size.

From the 6, all this got was the in-display fingerprint scanner, bigger battery, and band 71 for T-Mobile but at the expense of the headphone jack while STILL not giving us:
-microSD card slot (which surprises me that they're not willing to give it a NM card reader)
-stereo speakers
-wireless charging (I only care about this when the headphone jack is removed)
-same bloody God-forsaken secondary camera lens (should be wide-angle or something)
So no, the Galaxy S9+ for the *slight* price hike is worth it more with the better camera, better display, stereo speakers, and headphone jack with the plus of wireless charging and IP68 rating.

yesterday I see they are giving source code for people who wants mods and costumize their rom. I think this phone has no many feature, not nice UI and more.. just release new phone every 6 months with no new feature. so I think better choose another brand

I had a phone that had no 3.5mm jack and no i dont want new phone that has no 3.5mm jack anymore. That converter isnt working well and blutooth isnt for me. I forget to charge wireless headphones and then there battery is empty when i need them and so on. The choices to have type-c headphones are really low too and i dont like these silicone things you stick in your ear and these that are like apple earpods that will make my ears painful. I like the most old version of these headphones you but in your ears and i have few good one of them.
And then the other thing is that i dont need a flagship phone. I dont make pictures with my phone and i dont play games with my phone so why would i need a flagship phone if i dont even use 10% of what my low middle range phone have to offer for me. Make me question for what i then need even more powerful hardware ?
And well then thirdly as of now there is nothing in the market that is new and i want one. I would want something more compact but the only choices i have is either flagship hardware sony or over priced year or few years old iphone.

I'd rather buy a new S9 for the same price but better camera, better screen and more features.

OnePlus 6T is getting more hype than it deserves. It is just a minor update to OnePlus 6 & comes with a few controversies of it's own (unnecessary removal of headphone jack being one).
I think right now most people are better off looking at other options rather than going for the 6T. Even if you're a OnePlus fan, you're better off waiting 6 months for the OnePlus 7 which will obviously be better.
