When you new form factor appears, the old form factor becomes cheaper.
But also the LCD has a certain amount of flexibility, meaning they have edge displays and curved phones the LG made them
All those types of applications will be cheap plus their software developments will be amazing

Samsung Galaxy F will change the view of content. how websites will smoothly change or not. its question. its make lots of update in other things after coming in market.

      - The device seems kinda big and may not be so easy to place it in your pockets
      - When in tablet mode, the aspect ratio is quite silly (watching movies in a square shape when everything is going above 16:9)
I'm not sure I'd buy it.. Yeah, I get it, it's cool, but it's not like using alien tech or something. Maybe I'll get something similar in the next 3-4 years, when it will be perfected, but not now.
The first models will always have bugs and other issues until they get it right.
I'm glad there's something new though, we're all getting tired of the same rectangular shape.

And yes, Micro LED is the future, since it offers same benefits as OLED, just without degradation and burn-in issues which OLED has. Also, as technology moves forwards, prices of older tech drop. Since I have no interest whatsoever to own foldable phone, I can only root for them to become affordable as soon as possible, so regular smartphones see price drops aswell. We saw similar thing before with flip phones, then slide phones, and also touchscreen smartphones. New tech means price drop for old tech.

This will change the industry because it presents a new form factor that will change how every product is made. It will change laptops, tablets, smartphones and smartwatches, even it could change all in one PCs.
The flat phones or will be know by then the old form factor will continue to made and become cheaper.
The is foldable tech is targeting more the microLED rather than the OLEDs
But the OLEDs in this aspect could be cheaper than the microLED and since how all the companies are pushing and working on the microLED in behind the scenes I don't think the OLED foldable will be cheaper.

Also good to know that Huawei will use LG's displays and probably have the same screen issues.

Regardless of how well it's received, this will be exciting to watch.

Wauvvv is an exciting time with smartphones in these years. Thinking 2-4 years and we begin to see how handsome these F-phones are, while the prices on them begin to become human so we can all join. As with everything else in the mobile world, Sammy will always be expensive, but the offer from other brands will be bigger ... exciting. Then comes the time where we will not see every other mobile with a smashed display.

calling this a gimmick is like callomg the first airplane a gimmick because it flew for only 19 seconds.. things has to start somewhere

I hope it will be sucess. So prices of regular devices can go down.

While our current phones are sturdy enough with some proper care, they're still prone to breaking easily with just one failure of taking care of it.
The ability to bend the phone without breaking any hardware component of it would be a good thing to have. We may not appreciate it now, but we'll have to see where this idea will go in the forseeable future of it.

What would be the sole reason to still go to the event where the product will be officially unveiled by the manufacturer, when everything about it is pretty much leaked all throughout the web already??
I get the point of being one of the first to try the product, but with a bit more patience and one can simply try it in local stores, all without having to face the struggle of lining up to be one of the first comers.
