The future of laptops is thin and light ultrabooks, ARM will overtake Intel in this space in the near future. Apple is working in-house on an ARM-based processor for MacBook Air.

GOOGL, 06 Nov 2018Intel?Intel uses CISC architecture ARM uses RISC architecture. RISC is better than CISC in most cases, and where CISC is better RISC is catching up very fast. All Apple in-house chips are based on ARM, soon Apple will drop Intel entirely.

1st of all, in that time only Sony IMX400 was capable of super slow mo, your S8 has IMX330.
you said that snapdragon was not able to handle super slow motion, then tell me why the one in Sony Xperia XZ Premium can?? its same SD835 in both.

Sure it doesn't provide software updates as long as iOS, it isn't as secure as iOS, but in the end, the pros outweight the cons. In India Samsung has done Fan Party where Samsung India's higher level ppl like Director, MD where present. They had talk with all the People. Exynos processor present in S8 is capable of super slow motion video but either wise snapdragon was not. So they had to cancel that feature in S8. Exynos is far better than Snapdragon.
And putting more than 2 NPU's, it quite power consuming for a mobile device and the heat generation from it.

And such a device which will turn to a full desktop with just a HDMI connector.
