Sold phones with stock, androidone (Pixels, Nokias, Motorolas, 1 Xiaomi android one=one of the most sold in that category) was 25 milions. So in the Android world 26% prefer stock (or androidone on cheaper devices) Maybe because of lacking basic options in UI, who knows :/

If you mean for smartphones, last original Nokia is from 2012 (Nokia 808 Pureview). HMD is something else, Nokia-Microsoft, was, also, something else back in the time, but at least back cameras on those Lumias was from original Nokias. No more Finn original Nokias, there are (on that place) now Chinese OEMs like Huawei (2-th in the world, for now, because of Honor subBrand = cheap price). World wide HMD is 9-th in the best case.

          So no, we are not to blame. And Gingerbread worked perfectly and was already the most flexible OS. My first Android had gingerbread and before that i had a Windows mobile phone and i loved this OS, but since it was abandoned, it was no longer an option.

            Welcome to stock Android/One. Android may be the best versatile phone OS, but as stock, it's rather restrictive. Don't know why some people flock to it like there's nothing better.

Compare Gingerbread and Belle, one is just spying and eye candy, other endless functionality. Also, not so sure anymore but didn't Nokia have similar problems in US market like Huawei now?

                HMD Global is a Finnish company run by directors and engineers from the old Nokia, period.

                    Board is half chinese. Usually FINNISH companies don't have 50% chinese boards. And Nokia engineers, really? As much as i know, they are working everywhere but HMD, starting from Huawei (key engineers at least) . Sure, they have few officials from Nokia of old and that's that.

                        HMD Global, with headquarters right next to Nokia in Finland, run by former directors and engineers, but still people say "Nokia is a Chinese phone brand"... you are either stupid, or dishonest. Most likely both.

                            They are doing well with Android one and others but as a Nokia user in the past, I just see their devices as another alternative to any OEM with stock Android with Nokia Logo.

                            Yet to see what Nokia actually was in the past. Will take time and patience to be bold and innovative in a market which is now ruled by Huawei, Apple, Samsung and few notable Chinese OEMs.
