I'm a big Nokia fan.
Nokia for me is slow to respond on the trend nowadays. Samsung is catching up with 4 camera setup.
Maybe Nokia 9 will be late for the party.

My previous Nokia was N73 Music edition and I had a love/hate relationship with the phone. Camera was good at the the time but lack of headphone jack and clunky Operating system made me switch to iPhone 3g and since then I have not looked back at Nokia. This Nokia 9 seems to be walking on same path as older Nokias being great camera and lackluster everything else. Sad to see compromises on flagship phones.

What is the average age of the posters here... 5 years ? It feels like the majority is a kid whining about how bad Nokia is, repeating for 500x that Nokia isn't Nokia anymore (we all know for long), that they don't like a notch, that it is a camera race, ...
Might be all fine but if you don't like it... WTF are you doing in this thread !? Go and post in the thread of your beloved phone how wonderfull it is, or is all you can whine like a child ?

They a tually wanted better fotography in smartphones, and they did it over and over again. Now, they just fight their rightfully throne back.

Anyone else feels like this whole thing with cameras is getting out of hand? I do have to say I like nearly all Nokia phones. Only thing that bothers me on most is fingerprint scanner on the back. I have it on the front with Xiaomi Mi5 and it just works better for my usage.

Just when i tought that thing was first used on sharp then on essential and only after that on iphone. But letting this out cause people do not like to accept this trend came out before iphone and actually crapple followed the trend and not vice-versa. Nokia 8, 6, 5, 3, of 2017, nokia 7, 7.1 and 6.1 of 2018. Are pure nokia design, top buttom. And are great devices. This Nokia if really exists, is another nokia '"dare to do". If you ever used nokia you should already know, but i doubt. When you look back in the history, from nokia 3650 to 7610 to 7710, to 7700 to 808 to 1020 (and oh som many others) you realise this device is actually following the legacy. But i do not expect from nobody to like them. For me, this device will be the next, and i give 1 cent of what you and the mass of ignorants have to say. HMD has access to, and uses nokia researches. Good enough for me, now, you buy the real copycats and let others like what they want...

I spent a fortune ... moreyou're not obliged to get a Nokia now, so calm your t!ts down, even me as a Nokia fan only appreciated their N 7Plus and N 6.1 for their design and performance, I might get the N 9 since it has no notch as well, even all the buzz that HMD is a copycat of those notches they kept the one thing the made Nokia known before, that's durability, now if you aint satisfied with what they are doing, then you're free to stay away from the brand instead of crying like a baby for demands which we all know will never be heard by ano companies
Nokia as it is right now is in good hands, it does not need people like you as the sales is still going up even tho it is slow compared to when N 7Plus hit the market, they're ranked 9 in the wild, better than other brands that has been their since Nokia-Microsoft fell down

I gave up Nokia only when i saw Htc One M7. Nowdays, so-called Nokia gave me NO REASON TO BUY their boring and obsolete phones. They are all like any ZTE, Xiaomi, OnePlus. Nokia even have notch and chin like all chinese crap copy after iphone. If Nokia wants to stand out of the crowd must take Samsung and HTC example: no notch, no chin, no iphone-ish design. Look at this bullsh_t with 5 camera: it is grotesque !!!
