When a chrome OS line is priced as expensive as a windows or iOS device, I'd go for microsoft and apple >.>

Who is buying those "hulking" tablets?
It is a 2in1 alright but if you are never or almost never going to use it for a tablet (anything more than 500 grams is too much, over 700 grams a joke for one handed use/carry) then what is the point really?
Just buy a regular laptop which is twice the powerhouse as this without the gimmicky "tablet side".
If you want a tablet buy a tablet. 2in1s are pointless because their tablet side sucks.so.very.much

For the price of $1,599 (256GB i7 model with 16GB of RAM) I can get a very good and slim laptop. iPad and Google Pixel Slate are not PCs. Their ecosystem are based on apps provide by either apple/ios or google/android. A PC is 10 times stronger than any slates or iPads. Why should I pay a fortune to buy a close system where I am only browsing internet. The pricing is crazy!!!

Waste of money just like Apple's iPad Pro's. Get a more powerful laptop for half the price of this overpriced Pixel slate which will never be s serious productivity tool or a laptop replacement.
