The good thing about Mediatek P series is their high price-to-performance-and-feature compared to their rival QSD 660.
The bad thing, closed source driver leading to small adoption by manufacturer.

Only good experience with mediatek, i have used 6582, 6752, X10, x20 no serious problems back then. I have no idea anymore, I think Kirin, Qualcomm is far ahead
