Very low gsmarena... So embarrassing, the only web i trust for unbiased review, but it seems money make this trusty web site become like another stupid paid review website..

G.Agrianitis, 09 Nov 2018Why the hell isn't anyone, including gsmarena, mention this... moreMaybe next time you won't be so cheap and you'll go buy a real phone, not a wannabe replica..
I've said this so many times before, I'd rather pay double and get the real deal or even last year's top 3 flagships rather than a brand new china phone.
It's not cheaper because they're "not greedy", but it's cheaper because it has low quality parts and hardware. Also, some of the most important features are missing and they also take advantage of the fact that most of the people have no clue about the technical stuff.
Inform yourself people. If you want to find exactly what problems a smartphone has, this is definitely not the place to research. XDA Forum is.
This site turned into the biggest suckup for china low quality products.
For someone who claims to "know everything" about a phone, they are setting the bar too low. That's why in Europe we have quality control.

Apurv Anand, 09 Nov 2018Dear GSMArena,
We get it. You also need to make money. Y... moreTotally with you! This is an embarrassment for GSMArena. ;-(
And it is safe to say that we are not alone in thinking so. How often do yo see a 2:1 ratio in favour of downvotes for a video on Youtube from a normally serious site that are used to ratios like 1:20 and seldom worse than 1:10.
It should be removed, or at the very least renamed to something like "Vlad's personal rants against the Pocophone F1"

Tom, 08 Nov 2018No one mentioned the touch screen issue (high latency)? Why the hell isn't anyone, including gsmarena, mention this??
This is a real issue pending solution, yet no review mentions this anywhere.
There are hundreds of people mentioning this in the xda and the miui forums, including myself, and this was enough of a reason to make me demand a refund.
The device felt more sluggish and stuggling with my usage than my current backup phone, the xiaomi redmi note 3, I can type and multitask faster and more accurately with this device than I eved could in those short two weeks I owned the poco.
Not mentioning processing performance rather than screen latency to the point of being irritatex, don't confuse those two things, redmi note 3 has nothing on computing performance versus the poco of course.
Super disappointed with that device, I really couldn't keep it.
(p. s. someone reported on miui forum a fix has been found and uploaded some videos as well, check it out:

Dear GSMArena,
We get it. You also need to make money. You have huge followers and an engaged community (I'm one of them). But posting stupid and obvious videos just because (it seems that ways) you got money from BBK to stop the mindshare PoCo is getting for their pricier phone iterations is just downgrading the trust this community has on unbiasness. I read the review article for OP6T where you guys went gaga about how great the phone is and convienently skipped the point that it is nearing $600 now. PoCo is almost half the price and a user will def consider it over 6T if the real life performance is similar with the obvious downgrades. Remember, that's how OnePlus gained popularity.
Don't let money buy your conscience. We all are educated enough to know what would we get if we pay double for a phone. And is paying that much required. Chill and be nice to welcome change. Else people will forget you with Oneplus as well..
Regards,
A die hard GSMArena fan (since 2007)

Pocophone is the only modern phone in 2018 where you don't need to go crazy to unglue it when you have to replace the battery: I don't really care about the premium build with slippery glass on the back, or the IP rating, or the slow useless wireless charging (I will use a cover anyway...).
The only real downside to me is the non AMOLED display (too much for this price), and the "no-icon-notification-in-the-status-bar" typical of MIUI phones with the notch.
PS: I live in Italy - on amazon.it the 64 version can be bought for 300-320 euro, the 128 for 340, taxes (VAT 22%) included

There are lots of flaws with this video, but the biggest one is saying the Pocophone is a high-end phone. It is a budget phone with many mid and high-end features and functionality.

When/how did plastic build become a dealbreaker? That's one of the reasons I would by it. It's glass that's the dealbreaker. I also don't understand why this is not a filter option in the phone finder.

Pocophone is the best choice for 260£! Nothing comes even close to a phone with specs like Poco. Before judging this phone you need to remember how much it cost and realise that in today's World there is no other alternative. I have a Pocophone over a month now and a Love it! I was Samsung S series fun for the past 8 years and finally realised how much Samsung ripped me off over their products. The only thing which I'm missing is a very good camera but no camera on the market is worth additional 600£. I, would rather buy a Canon camera and make extraordinary pictures. So don't think too much about it and get the Pocophone because it's worth every single penny.

I think you were kidding, but then I just thought it is serious.
What a waste of time. By the way, get some English lessons. Seriously.
For the price, you can't beat Poco. When user wants to buy it, of course he will see the price. It is the same with every phone. And by the way GSM arena made a review, so did they mention about the price increase in EU? :)
Availability - you can get it easily in EU, so WTF are you talking about?
Plastic built - well, if you drop it, it won't break like the glass smartphones. Isn't it cool or is it wrong? Wireless charging that charges your phone slower than your wired charger - why would you need that? I don't so another senseless rant.
MIUI - I guess you could rant about EMUI? You see the pattern?
Get a beer, and stop doing videos. Seriously.

no serious drawback on poco for me
- wireless charge? my previous phone had this feature but to me its useless, never used it
- plastic? no big issue, without cover they are better than glass, at least they wont fall off table constantly, with cover they are all same. and I used lumia series before, plastic is just fine.
- no ip rating? my phones survived for more than 22 years without ip rating. good to have it but can live without it.
- miui? the best UI currently in the market, after my first xiaomi, I realized my depression was because of the stock android, fking soulless :D
- no nfc? never used it, in my country currently e-wallets are widely used,
- price? its just 295$ for 64GB and 315$ for 128GB, less than price of samsung entry level (a6+ with snapdragon 450)
