Xiaomi offers one of the best values for money.
Others like Samsung charge fortune for their mid-rangers which are pretty much crap for their cost.
Flagships are also more and more expensive.
We should all stop being idiots and stop paying for it. Good sign is that globally smartphone sales are going down, also, less and less people will go after latest flagship.
So, Xiaomi, thank you for existing.

Xiaomi when you will launch these good device in India
Why are creating partialty between us. There is not a single word for Mi8 series Or MI MIX 3.
In return you India most HYPE device of year Poco F1 which has only SD845 flagship grade no other specs can compete flagship. Mi A2 which is also downgrade device good camera and SD660 but no headphone jack and 3010 mah Battery. Downgrade version of Redmi Note 5 Pro (camera aperture in India is f2.2 and other country is f1.9). Mi Mix 2 launch whose camera is not so good but they skip Mix 2S which is much better device than Mix2.
Xiaomi is now change they are clearing volume not qaulity.

Xiaomi is only famous for "cheap phones".
In the name of flagship they only sold "flagship killer" which is dumb or incomplete device.
If Xiaomi is loved so much why they hide Mi8 Series,
Black Shark from India. Xiaomi was good at earlier now they are creating hype by launching device at low cost
with incomplete. I hope the day will come Xiaomi would launch good products in India.

Nothing surprising.
MI is going good by offering a good quality, value & performance at lower prices. Currently have
7 mi devices,
2 moto deivices,
1 samsung device,
1 lg device...
Earlier this ratio was opposite with just 1 mi device, 2-3 years ago.

Same time samsung sold thousands of phones with 7870 processor and earns more than mi. Lost more reputation than mi.

With Samsu... moreXiaomi is the best in our india subcontinent this part of asia, it is making quality low budget and midrange smartphones that are really giving the best of value. In my home I am using MI 5s my sister Note 4x and my father a MI A2 so we are using a lot of Xiaomi phones among friend circle as well. I am a satisfied customer for what it delivers with the price I paid for it. Samsung and other OEM are surely overcharged high priced for us. Those brand are for premium midrange sector where you always have to ay extra for BRAND value.

i live in a country called India, which aims to conquer moon and mars on the strength of own technology.
Its very strange that such country cant make a mobile phone on its own. it imports mobiles, electronic and even arms for army by giving billions of dollors profit to countries like china and US. i hope situation changes soon.

I was reluctant to buy Chinese until this news.
With Samsung, lg, Sony all making overpriced junk, it makes me feel like an idiot for buying a low-end or mid-range phone from these brands.
Sansung still is good in flagship followed by lg but Sony is overpriced even in that segment.
BTW a happy lg user here.
