I have this phone (200€ in portugal). It is the best phone i ever had since its great for gaming and music, internet.
High quality audio and gaming keys on top of the screen alowing you to play like a PSP or a GBA.
If you are looking for a mobile with great camera forget it. It's good for mms and maybe ocasional photos.
But for gaming (and looking at the price) It's a great phone. It handles a lot of games like super mario, pokemon and Sonic.
You wanna play gameboy advanced and NES games like i do without the original consoles? Buy this phone

this phone is too too plastic spec isn't bad but after the hype and everything I expected more. Wouldn't recommend - Spend that bit extra and get an N95E.

Just wanted to post my take on the N81 8GB/ MicroSD Card version.
Regardless of what version it may be (8GB or MicroSD) the N81 is the so called successor of the N80. Yet, the N81 has left out Infra-red, 3.15 Megapixel camera, the 352x416 resolution screen (Features that were all included in the N80!).
Leaving out Infra-red is not a big deal to many people as its not widely used anymore, but to downgrade the camera is just ridiculous. Perhaps I am expecting to much of the N81's screen resolution (even the N95 doesn't carry the same resolution as the N80!).
Overall, a good handset but most people will question the downgrading of the camera specification. Nice to see the standard 3.5mm headphone/mic jack though:).

I have Nokia N81 in India. I brought it from Delhi at Rs 28000. It is the best handset ever with loads af new features.

If you want a cool SMARTphone...for a somewhat high price (but not really that high), then you should the Nokia N81
If you want a camera SMARTphone, and don’t care about size, go for the N93
If you want the best SMARTphone with a great camera, good size, and a lot of other features,… and you don’t care about price…buy the Nokia N95-3.
If you want a decent SMARTphone, with a decent music player, at a good price, then buy the Nokia 5700 or Nokia 6120.
If you don’t want a smartphone, then buy an SE phone.

i dont really care about the megapixels...but they could of atleast added autofocus....if this phone had autofocus it would be really better
