Some iPhone users are getting their Apple ID accounts locked

13 November 2018
At this time it's unclear why it's happening, but those who are affected are required to reset their password.

LOL i've been using iOS since i got my iphone 4s and the only thing that i don't like in iOS is that I can't share files via bluetooth. That's it. Android on the other hand is power hungry and has poor ram management. Yes, new android devices have 4 or even 6 gb of ram and their batteries are so big some devices explode while in your pocket (yes, i went there) I am also using a samsung s9 for my gaming needs because some games i play are not available in my country and i have to resort to apk downloads out of the playstore

Book an appointment in a week time, get it unlocked... And don't forgot to carry the bill with you ( even though it's years old device)

          You're logging in wrong!!!

I was affected... but it's not that bad... My work reminded me to change my password on my Apple ID. BUT I procrastinated it WAY too long. I guess now it's time. XD

This is good news. It'll keep users on their toes.
Forcing users to unlock their account often will concentrate minds.
              Well done Apple!

So much for the sake of iOS being "close-sourced". Since Tim C(r)ook took over, security incidents keep happening frequently.

Anonymous, 14 Nov 2018it is, it's locked, so therefor, it's secured :3You never know whether the lock happened prior to hacking or post hacking...I am sure Apple can clarify on this....

Anonymous, 14 Nov 2018it is, it's locked, so therefor, it's secured :3even from the legitimate owner :3
