Still pretty bad pricing if you ask me. RN5 pro is old and outclassed by both Zenfone max pro and Realme2 pro. Same with Y2.
Mi A2 dropped the ball by downgrading with removing headphone jack and microSD slot. And only gets worse with bad battery life and HUGE camera bump. Hardly worth buying at all

I just bought Realme 2 Pro recently, and not at all disappointed. Best device right now under 15k INR (along with Honor 8x probably).
And with this "Honest" Redmi Note 5 Pro, it's quite clear that Xiaomi's "honest" price for the 6 Pro would be 15-16k, which makes it DOA. And seeing A2's price, even if they spring a surprise and bring 6 Pro with 660, it will be 16-17k. Xiaomi needs to learn that in the segment that they are playing, they cannot do an Apple.

if RN5 pro 4gb is @14k and 6gb @ 16k then RN6 pro may launch only 6gb variant around 17k or 18k..

And MIUI is a burden on budget devices with never fixed bug's..
MIUI OKAY IF YOU HAVE POWERFUL DEVICE REDMI NOTE 5 PRO..
BUT NOT GOOD FOR
2 GB RAM REDMI 4A REDMI4X REDMI 5 REDMI 6..

Micromax got a contract from chattisgarh government for 5 million or more device to be distributed to people within the state for promoting digital india campaign. Micromax may comeback but they wont be able to capture the market again.

Never buying Xiaomi phones again.
Had the Mi A2 for a few months, awful battery, slow af.
Bought the Nokia 7 plus, better than the Mi A2 in all aspects.
Xiaomi doesn't know how to make Android One phones, not to mention the Mi A1 and Mi A2 haven't received Android 9.0 Pie yet, unlike most Nokia phones.
Also, MIUI is ew.
