Or ... moreBy you just answering a call, the system would know that it is an active line and not a dead one therefore leaving you open to further repeated nuisance calls from telemarketers. Unless of course one enjoys these types of calls...

        I am just starting every call with a 5 seconds silence. Or start my conversation with a "Hi". If nobody answers. Robocall.
