Akinaro, 17 Nov 2018Did anyone noticed. app made by small dev team/or person: ... moreapps with smaller teams tend to care more and take their sweet time, apps bought out by big companies tend to make their employes "time crunch" which in turn makes them care more about how long it took not how well it was done.

Akinaro, 18 Nov 2018well not exactly, there are lots of app that where popular ... moreHackers and audiences in general will pay more attention to an App when it is taken by a big company. Like Instagram being taken by Facebook. Yes the more resources they have the easiest it should be to protect them but don't underestimate the time, effort and skills those hackers can put into putting their skilsl to test against the big machine that are apps like facebook or google or apple.

The chances of a bug showing up in a population of what? 100 phones? are not the same ones as in a population of 1 million. It doesn't matter how much an OEM test the phone, bugs will always show up after release, what matters is how OEMS respond. Now of course there are some exceptions like The Green screen issue with Mate 20 pros, but it will always happen.

That's the only problem: we won't... Even if you train an AI to have a nice, "feeling" personality, and even if it understands stuff like art and sensibility, it will still think against us humans and our primitive minds.

So its not like hackers woke up and start messing with it just because its under big corp wings.

Also we talk here about big corporations that have resources and money to constantly update app and search for security holes.

Its the same with testing device. I have no idea how its possible that company worth billions of dollars cant properly test device before release, so we often have phones that hit the market and in the first day users find bugs on them...
Just go to any XDA custom rom topic of any device, literally 3-4 random testers can find bugs in few days of usage.... So how company test their devices? One person sit in closed room and turn on and off device to see if it work?

Ever since Facebook bought it, Instagram has all sorts of issues.
Maybe people should move on from Instagram too.

Small DEV team develops an App, App grows in popularity, at some point bigger COPR group buys the app and injects a huge amount of money making the app grow big in little time, the app gets a lot more popular and well known around the world, hackers see the app and make it their game to find loopholes they can exploit, they find them and make them public, the average consumer sees this and goes like "OMG it used be better before", or "all social networks suck, screw this world".

Happy to know you guys noticed my comment yesterday. We are getting closer to my dream article "Facebook has deleted itself".

We just need "WhatsApp all accounts pirated, sends 'Facebook Sucks message to all your contacts" and "Messenger messages your Credit Card to random accounts, 95% are affected".
