Kiyasuriin, 20 Nov 2018Eheheheh~ ^-^;
I don't think samsung will ever ditch bixb... moreYeah, sadly they decided to be stubborn. And by still buying their product I'd be patronizing them - which would mean I agree with their decisions.
So as a consumer, I'll opt for less bloated devices. So far I like the IOS, though I also miss Android because of how simple it was to get music. If I do decide to go for Android again, it will most likley be stock Android device.
And I might go for Android again, since I would feel like an idiot if I paid 1500 euros for a phone. And paying older iPhone as much as current Android flagship also does not sound that good to me.

Alien , 20 Nov 2018You can always DELETE Bixby plus whatever bloatware you don... moreSo now you have a phone full of hardware that you cannot use. IMO erasing bluetooth and NFC isn't very bright idea.
It's sad that you had to disable so many stuff on your device in order for it to function as fast it was supposed to.

Just Logged in for the S10 Flat. I will be back for Samsung Flat Panel after 3 years left because of the goofy curve panel.

macky2green, 20 Nov 2018Each to his/her own. I prefer rear-mounted fingerprint. A... moreI like too the rear FP. But at this price point, the triple camera should be here. It's done on some A7 and even more, so why Samsung doesn't offer it on his flagship ? The same thing happened with the S9 and the S9+, why only the S9+ have a double camera ?? Not everybody wanted a big screen ... And true be told, since I'm not interested in the size of the S9, considering I have a S8, moving on the S9 is not a smart move, still right now it isn't. except maybe if someone want another color or a more refine Blue hue. The Ocean Blue on the Note 9 interest me but that price ... Hell no.

Notch can be hidde... moreHow is the hole worse than the notch?
1 reason the hole is better than the notch is that when you're watching a video in landscape mode, the black bars on top and below your video will render the hole all but invisible.
What happens when you watch a video in landscape mode on iPhone's X and XS series?

Anonymous, 20 Nov 2018do they confirmed that will put some Quality in thier devic... moreWhat issues did the S8 series have? I have an S8+, and my wife has the S8.
Not one issue in the 18 months we've had them. They're so good that we didn't upgrade to the S9, but will replace them with the S10 series early next year.

Any iris/facial biometrics is just a bonus, but not necessary. IP68 is important. OIS on the main camera is important. Single camera is fine. MicroUSB is OK, though USB-C could be better. Currently using an S7 Edge 128GB + 128GB microSD but still not enough. I have an iPad Pro 10.5 but I still want a big phone/phablet.

Realistic1, 20 Nov 2018Flat screen is definitley a good start.
If it won't "featu... moreYou can always DELETE Bixby plus whatever bloatware you don't want like I did. No need to root the phone. You just need a working PC with windows/Linux the has adb installed.
Connect the phone to your computer with the cable, open the terminal and type :
"adb shell pm uninstall --user 0 com.package.example"
Replace com.package.example with the apk you want uninstalled.
Done!
No more bloatware :)
I've deleted bixby, Bluetooth, iris scanner, nfc, gallery, stickers and a whole lot of other junk. My S8+ is flying!

macky2green, 20 Nov 2018Finally, a flagship phone with a FLAT SCREEN. Thank you, S... moreThe problem is that it is'nt gonna be a flagship per se, but the main entry on the S10 ... Meaning no UD FP for example, or triple camera, which will be reserved for the 5.8" curved avec for the 6.44" one. That's really shitty. I was hoping since the starts of the leak that it may come with the triple camera but the way it look like, that will not be the case ... And more over, paying 900+ EUR for a S10 that haven't that much of a novelty, sorry but pass. I only switched on a S8 because I had a great price at the start, otherwise I would've kept my S7 classic I thing, I loved it. The curved screen is sure "better" that the S7Edge, the Note 9 is better too than the S8 but at what cost ? And also, the screen size isn't the same ... Not everyody want a big big screen, 5.8" with the 18/9 is already a lot for some, personnally I find it OK but I have 2 tablet on the other side ... ppl that want big screen generally don't have a tablet so for them it make sense ;)

Trollhammeren, 20 Nov 2018I don't understand what people like about that curved crap ...Enthusiasts hate it. As in actual people who have used these devices for years and know the ins-and-outs (think xda-developers).
Samsung meanwhile spends Billions on marketing the curve. The general population (normies/sheep/whatever) believe the advertisement. Then "professional" journalists review the product and give a positive response to the curve, to keep the OEMs happy enough to send more devices in the future, and they endorse the hype. This circles back and causes OEMs to double-down on "the trend".
The same thing happened to increasing prices, removing the headphone jack, removing the FM radio, removing the IR blaster, adopting non-standard aspect ratio, and using a slippery, smudgy, fragile Glass Construction. Sort of like what's happened to Cars, where they're really Planned Obsolescence in the 2010's contrary to the 1995-2005 era automotives.

Anonymous, 20 Nov 2018Your comment makes no sense.Well it does.
Samsung is well known for making stupid innovations and inventions which noone ask for or wants but we all pay for them in price of their products.
Like for example face scanner.
Finger print is enough.
Nobody is using face scanner but we overpaid this technology its RD and whole research cost in pricing of their devices.
Or why do you think a J4 prime. Phone with 2015-2016 specs cost 150 euros???
