Apps keep growing and getting more advanced. 4GB RAM is already short now, and will not result in a better experience as a future proof phone.
Pixel is a flagship priced device, but has the same amount of RAM as a $109 phone. No optical zoom due to only one camera sensor, unimpressive battery cpacity and nothing really to blame it on. Google needs to improve their lineup.

Samsung is example, where 4GB RAM is filled with bloatware, so only about 1GB is left free. It will suffer from lags, when more memory is needed.

Anything else other flagships have are just useless gimmicks which cost a lot more money and not everybody would find usefull.
Like Iris scanner, jack, Qled display, Ultra elite camera etc.

It ha... morewhats the point of having all of that, and in the end your battery is not even able to reach the 7 hours of screen? what is it for ? having a button on the side for xiaomi assistant in chinese? not able to change this to google asssitance. Having exactly the same cameras of mi mix 2s. In technology if you after 9 mounths presented a device with the same specifications, that is not a sign of stagnation is actually a sign of going back and lose the leading group... Really hope mi mix 3S is going to knock everybody out. Because for now xiaomi is loosing the train...

I'd choose Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 over any other. It has flagship power, plenty of RAM and storage, no notch and a great camera. Their MIUI and updates offer great support.
Huawei has giant notch on their flagship and EMUI is not favourite of mine. Apart from that, I would consider it.
Samsung has bent displays that leads to poor ergonomics. Touchwiz still sucks and updates come way too slow. Hopefully One UI will fix both SW problems.
Motorola opted to make their 2018 flagship a 2017 flagship.
LG notch again and poor camera performance
Sony still has too big bezels and focuses too little on camera performance, despite having the best starting point. Too scared to bite into their own P&S camera sales, or scaring their sensor customers to others?
Pixel has the ugliest "single notch", huge bezels, buggy SW, not enough RAM and way too high price for the HW. Sure the camera gets a lot of help by SW, but it's still a single camera, still only 4GB RAM, still a small battery, they are already the makers of google android - it should cost way less. Too afraid to compete with the others making them go Tizen etc?
Pixel is a cheap phone with a high price, and that's apples territory. Google should stay away from such nonsense.

That's potentially quite dangerous. Many big companies have fallen from expanding physical locations too quickly. The operating overhead is not insignificant.

Poco will be the value for money brand which xiaomi was few years ago. The way honor and realme exist. Like sub brands with online only availability and ads.
