21 November 2018
The flat-screened S10 will reportedly stick with glass for the back, which has a positive side - the ceramic will be available in only two colors.

Ceramic is harder than glass, which means it's more scratch resistant than glass. However, the greater hardness comes with greater brittleness, so it will actually be more prone to cracking than you might think.

Granted ceramic is very high in Mohr scale means it will not scratched easily even with micro sand. U can find lots of interesting videos especially in JerryRigsEverything for eg.

Ceramic is a good choice. The gorilla glass just isn't tough enough, regardless of their exaggerated figures of toughness. I have dropped many phones with soft covers and had damaged glass backs.

but i'll recommend polycarbonate it is much more durable and tend to blend scratches.

Anonymous, 21 Nov 2018So samsung S and Note series leaks arrive well over a year ... moreEverything has leaked about the Nokia 9, a long time ago, and Nokia don't even know if it's ever going to be released....

Ceramic is better than glass, so i don't get why people are complaining. In either case they're not very durable, so it shouldn't matter either way. At least ceramic is more premium than glass, so it makes more sense to put that on these overpriced flagship phones rather than glass which is much cheaper...
