Samsung strongest market was Latam. in which they sold the most! anyways, is wierd samsung not selling that good in asia whereas selling a lot in urope and america and latam!

Entirely without US market Huawei still #2 HAHA
All I have to say is: when the nationalists in the US Government saw Huawei, they certainly think they saw *Apple's Death Star* or something LMAO, maybe true or not. :) But see them chicken out like that without even seen the phone is so funny!
Hundreds of millions of people already using it with no problem. Wonder why?

I'm confused regarding the profit comment at the bottom. Is this comparing their various phone divisions, or the companies' entire overall revenue and operating profit? (i.e. is this including Samsung's fridges, washers & dryers)

While Apple is Busy to release a half dual SIM iPhone in 2018 and *not even full HD* screen in their overpriced iTrashes (like iTrash XR)other chinese companies are developing foldable phones, AMOLED LCDs, solid State batteries, underdisplay ultrasonic fingerprint reader, real full screen displays and more and more.
So to me a OP6, OP6T, Oppo X, Xiaomi phones are much more a smartphone than an overpriced poor crappy iTrash. And don't Forget even iTrashes produced in China so there's no deference between a trash designed in California made in China and designed in China and made in China.

You are wrong, here in Europe Huawei actually got surprisingly big. They are stealing Samsung sales every day and is THE Android OEM now. IPhone is still keeping it shares because they can offer completely different experience, but Samsung is in big trouble.
When people here talking about buying new Android phone it's huawei or oneplus, people aren't buying Samsung that much anymore, maybe old people does.

Do I hope they fall into financial ruin, No. (Would be funny as hell to see the first trillion dollar company be reduced to bankruptcy within a few years though).
The fact is that Apple will not change. Samsung will not change. The only change that we will see is the Chinese brands raising prices claiming there devices are on par with the true mobile giants.

NA, mainly the US, are scared shitless of Huawei taking Apple's share, so they're restricting Huawei's growth there.
