Samsung wants to sell their OLED's to competition to make more money, at the same time they will charge a fortune for LCD and also rip off their customers that way.
This is a huge downgrade for A8!

Big mistake by Samsung to remove the OLED panel in favour of the inferior LCD.
If it wanted to be competitive it should just have put OLED panel with hole and taken the hit...

Lol Sammy goes the Huawei way now... But im sure they will do many things in the fight for survive, if its good, only the time willl show.
But most fun with this is all the haters against all other brand was yelling up in many month because Sammy dont use notch. And last coouple weeks against huawei mate 20 pro because of the display, now they got it all themselves lol... Always beware out there.

They're gonna try to get some of that midrange money from Xiaomi and BBK. They are currently dominating the midrange. Xiaomi, Poco, RealMe...they're gonna try to go there. I dunno if LCD is the right bet.

I swear you people don't understand what is technology ??
There is nothing wrong with the LCD and I'm surprised because I thought LCD's could not have cut outs like that, but, apparently, they're excelling.
By the this LCD display could have the mini-LED backlit since BOE will make for Samsung and it's been reported that LCD miniLED backlit will compete strongly with the OLED on small displays
