Sony Xperia XZ4 renders show a triple camera, extra tall 6.5" screen

These CAD-based renders show that Sony has rethought the placement of the fingerprint reader and the stereo speakers of the Xperia XZ3.

    NO NO NO. Damn you Sony. my XZ1 is already too tall. I don't need a tablet, I need a phone that I can carry in my pocket. I have a feeling I've bought my last Sony. If they keep making taller & heavier phones, a feature phone is looking really desirable as my next phone.

      Premium wil be sold in May or June, Compact might have SD710 instead of 8150 (855)

      Xz5 for IFA

      The history of X ends in 2019, new line in 2020 like they replaced Z,M and C for X

        StraightEdgeNexus, 27 Nov 2018Doesn't Sony announce phones in CES? Getting a little buzz around a phone brand that doesn't sell well isn't a bad thing.

          Looks gorgeous. I hope these renders are close to reality. Jumping to triple camera is a good move, as it will make the XZ4 equivalent to other flagships of 2019.

          Also, good to know Sony is not adopting the stupid hole concept and sticking to mini bezels instead. It's better like this.

              All xperia 2019 have screen 21:9.

              Too bad it has speaker beside usb, the worst place ever ..
              My current Xperia will be the last if they drop front speakers, I am sick of bezelfobia created by tech sites.

                      Holy smokes, that's hideous. And monstrously huge. What's the Compact version going to be, if there even is one? 5.5"? Fudge that noise.

                                I hope it's right. The XZ2 and XZ3 were an attempt to appeal to the US market and sales went down. If Sony has gone back to being a proper Sony again with side mounted fingerprint reader and flat screen, that could solve the next phone problem. If there's an XZ4 Compact, ideal.

                                  Great news if true.

                                    I would much prefer a wider phone as opposed to a taller phone. Give me a Z Ultra 16:9, minimal bezel and current processor

                                        They increase the length so there should be clearance for the headphone jack, right? What is still the point of a Sony phone that doesn't have a headphone jack and their camera software isn't still good?
