Never anyone would say, "Look guys, I just bought new Bendi phone" or "Excuse me, what iPhone? I have Foldi phone, okay".

Isn't this kind of similar to the Flexpai that launched last month, becoming the first "official" foldable display? A more refined version of it perhaps.

Nice patent. Now if LG could only patent a way to provide fast and timely android software updates and security patches to its flagship phones, it would certainly lift up LG's dying mobile phone sales and market share. Poor software update support is the #1 most horrible aspect of owning an LG smartphone. Yes, even flagship LG phones. Bootloops on some models (G4) and bad screen issues (retention, etc.) are actually less prevalent than poor, non-existent software updates.

Just having a beet, 28 Nov 2018I don't think that the full screen is needed all the time. ... moreWell then, it kind of destroys the purpose of having an expandable screen.
It's there to be utilized more often than not, and the users are just expected to use this feature frequently. They wouldn't buy it after all if they don't think it's necessary for their daily lives.

Yes, it may be handy for some activities, but most of the time would be used only one side and have it folded. I view this version much better than the other one from Samsung...

Wow nice concept and this could be better than Samsung if LG gives it the green light and shows us in CES or IFA

Not Sure About The Practicality.. But This is a Good Solution to Decrease The Thickness of The Foldable Phones Which Other OEMs Showcased (prototype)..
This Is Not Thinner Compared to Normal One.. But It's In Best Thickness Compared to Others of This Territory..
