MediaTek SoCs are fairly cheaper than their Qualcomm counterparts, so I'd assume that the Helio P70 is just a tad more expensive than the Snapdragon 625 (but is much cheaper than, say, the Snapdragon 670 or 710) so they have no reason not to offer USB C for the same asking price as it does right now.

If brands will not stop using microusb then type c will never be able to grow and that would a bitter situation.
Type C port is so multipurpose.

The only reason they are still keeping headphone jack around because they won't use type c port. The moment they went for type c they would drop the jack too. It's obvious that type c cost more than the other two combined.

Good to see it will have a dedicated Micro-SD card slot and Dual SIM. That Hybrid slot is quite frustrating that is the norm.

Seems like a waste. The P70 supports 4k video etc but they've not bothered to make use of the functionality. Why bother using a new chip if you're going to gimp it?

Am I the only user not in need of any selfie cam? I used my front cam exactly 0 times in the last year, before that I did use it once. Could phones be cheaper without a selfie cam? And how much cheaper could they be? Really, Im interested in that. I don't need any infinity screens or notches at all, I wish there would be phones without selfie cams (or second screens on the back).

They putting hello p70 for better camera processing,but they downgrade it in video capturing ( not even full HD 60 fps) what is the point then?! To be first with p70?! Uff big deal.Also price is high,there are much better smartphones,such as some Asus and Xiaomi midels.( In hardware),and Nokia in software support.
