Geric.770, 28 Nov 2018This game in PC version is way better than mobile platform.PC will always be better for gaming, you have physical controls and more room for cooling systems as well as dedicated memory for graphics. Better yet, you can upgrade almost any HW in it

iPhone XR / XS / Max.. have 120hz touch sens... moreOooh 120Hz touch sensing! How useless. I have tried an X-gen phone, my poor sister owns one. It's really useless in IRL usage. But yes, my phone runs in 60fps.
Also I don't waste my time on lamenight. But if you feel like paying the price premium just for an "advantage" for a stupid game, knock yourself out. I'll be playing real games in real hardware like PC or console

Iphones throttling is nothing new, it's well known and just goes to show that relying on simple benchmark tests is foolish.
Apple nees to redesign their cooling system, to allow their chipset to show what it's worth.

Apple chipset is currently only able to run fully long enough for benchmark tests. It doesn't take much heavy use before it throttles, so the whole benchmark game is still, as always, laughable.
This in game performance shows this clearly, from 60 to 30 fps after just a few minutes. ie you can consider the chipset's performance about half of what the benchmarks indicate.

i think both the XS and xs max will also overheat with their higher resolution screen.
this is where asus ROG's cooling system will be useful like the included aero cooling fan attachment.
it's possible that d ROG phone will sustain better frame rates than the latest iPhones when 60fps option is released to android due to its cooling system.

SD 8150 may be a little faster than isheep and also used in Windows that is heavier than Android.Also Mac OS is very slow to play games even though the processor is top class.

I am sure the Adreno 640 in the Snapdragon 8150 will face the same problem. as it's about the same performance level iirc.
