"sm8150" is but an internal designation, not the actual marketing name.

Something that won't boggle the mind too much... S8150 is enough of a mindblow

Don't care what it's called, it's all hype and bs anyway, the only bit of interest t is QC are trying another Windows soc..QC will add in even more tatt that few need/want, more co-processors for poxy ai's and images, more un-necessary battery drain, try building a good old S4 Pro on modern die sizes and techniques, we could have a decent, bare soc nice and cheap, ignore the numbers, watch the speed.. There are a lot of "power" users who want nothing to do with ai's, image data processing or gaming, but we are getting socs where all the add on tatt is killing the basic cpu's ability, 5G is just another oppurtunity for lots of folk and firms to spout complete utter bs and lies, again, just like they did with 4G,wich has turned out yo be a very pricey waste of time, at least here in the UK, theoretical "everyday" figures ardly obtainable anywhere, even at 3-4 am in the morning, me, I'm better off switching back to 3G,while everyone else struggles on 4G,3G flies along in comparison, peak might not be as high as 4G,when it works well, but everyday speed is much better on 3G,but that will go out the window when they roll out 5G,3G is going to be semi-crippled on lots of networks...

It's clear that even the new Kirin 980 still struggles on handling high graphics on Asphalt 9 Legends!

I wish they name it Snapdragon 870

8150 didn't make any sense in the first place so this a good news

I wish the custom processors (Kirin from Huawei, Exynos from Samsung, and Mediatek) use Adreno GPUs.
