I got a better idea, get a bit of paper with some lines on it oftern colour coded to highlight areas or companys. Add some words to describe the above and add an arrow with the phrase "you are here"

might work, dunno, anyone tried it?

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2011Sorry mate but you're wrong. The n96 was worse than the n97... moreI like to know why the N900 cost you so much, are you talking about the original layout. I had my N900 for 2 years never missed a beat and works very well.

[deleted post]Sorry mate but you're wrong. The n96 was worse than the n97 - those 2 phones cost me a load of money, so did the n900. I got rid of them all. The n95 imo was nokias masterpiece - if nokia went forwards after making this gem, like samsung did with the galaxy s - in fact all of the other smartphone makers, they wouldn't have lost so many customers. I'm gonna install google maps 6.0 on my sgs2 as soon as it's available. I think it will be a very handy tool. I'd like to see how it works with street view.

to bad, that GPS does not work indoor so effective that you could position yourself 1m right, so how that should work? the malls wont install aditional antennas (wifi or anything else) to support the app, and dont even speak it about worl-wide...

[deleted post]I wish you knew that there's not a single touch phone based on the s60v3. However, I understand that you've never used any smartphone prior to an android, so I can't blame you for being so ill informed :p

the difference: this new mapping is live and ONLINE
the cheap nokia download OFFLINE mapping lags and won't work if you don't have GPS access. ...

Tizen Takeover, 29 Nov 2011This has been done before by Nokia already. But as I said ... moreSour grapes?

I am perfectly capable of finding my way inside a mall or an airport or an IKEA. However, this will just help me to get where I'm going in those places a lot faster.

It will help me pinpoint the exact location of the store I'm going to in the mall, the department at IKEA or the check-in counter at the airport, before I get there, instead of fumbling for a mall locator map. That's value-added.

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2011nokia offline mapsYes, nokia use offline map
But we ca also do it in android! I use NAVITEL and download map of mya country completely. The map are free. The app like Navitel, Ndrive, Garmin, etc are not free, but you can get it free if you smart enough.
Actually, you also did not get it free from piNokia, coz you already buy it (Navteq) along with the overpriced piNokia handheld. Do u understand dude?

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2011nokia offline mapsOffline maps are not a great advantage for indoor areas. Most likely, the indoor place like a mall or airport will have some type of network coverage.

At least we dont act like iPhans and tell around it is completely reinvented and true innovation and Android is first to have this feature. So stop hating.
