Vivo NEX to hit Europe for €849

Hopefully this is the price for the new NEX, otherwise would be way too high, even with taxes included.

Typically yes. But unsure if vivo opened it or not.
It uses Snapdragon 845, so 845's modem is: the X20 modem: 1200 DL 5CA (CAT18), 150 UL 2CA(CAT13).
The 1200 and 150 are in Megabit/second.

    Not all allow unlocking bootloader, but more importantly, that does in no way represent a normal users requirement.

    Oh, and calling Vivo a no-name, hah! Now that's some Friday comedy right there.

    Vivo, as Oppo and OnePlus, is a part of BBK Electronics. Guess who has the number 2 spot in smartphone market share? BBK Electronics.

    Even as a independent brand, Vivo takes 6th place after sibling Oppo. Vivo has almost three times the market share of Motorola and LG, Sony in comparison is a mosquito, as is HTC. And you call them a no-name? Laughable.

    If you want to complain about resolution vs price, look no further than the Huawei Mate 20 X, 900 EUR and 346 ppi density. Not to mention it's proprietary card slot and only option for internal storage is 128GB - not exactly flagship level is it? The Vivo Nex has a 256GB option.

      All of the big names have put out phones full of faults, both HW related and SW. Even Pixel have been of the buggiest phones this year.

The "combination of hardware and software" doesn't say anything to me when the phone itself is not built with high quality standards. That, plus the fact that manufacturers like Apple, Samsung, and even smaller players like Sony and HTC have proven themselves that they produce high quality products that reflect their price. Ooookay, maybe not Apple but you get the idea (iPhone 6 bending, anyone?). Quality control is something every consumer should value, not just hardware and software.

            Can I unlock the bootloader? Does it have sd card slot? USB 2.0? What modem does it use? Except for the display design (not quality - only 388ppi) this is junk.

                  849 euros is way to pricy ............. i can buy mate 20pro, oneplus 6t,s9 plus, pixel 3,i phone xr instead.
