It's a good approach but is till find it a bit on the expensive side. Well you get a top premium tier flagship device for half the price of an iphone but i'm eager to know what oneplus will offer for a notchless device.

Aspros, 02 Dec 2018Although atm this phone exists as much as the unicorns, nowhere ... morePerhaps for the better. It's useless. WTF is Honor thinking? 2 useless front depth camera's??? Then creating a nice shaded back panel but provide a butt-ugly grey plastic cover. And where are the audio-jack and ir-blaster? Also why have these rear-camera's LESS features then on an old Honor 8 (laser AF?) while they should have OIS by now. Especially for that price! Afaic they put that Magic 2 in their own "magic" spot.

Should be $400. Not more. Please review Z5 Pro too

vasplar, 03 Dec 2018Make a global version available and sell it for $600 I'll buy it... more$499 without the in-display sensor, 6G/128G for global version. I will take it. I actually like the slider idea. Not really worry about the reliability of the sliding mechanism, not like you gonna keep the phone more than 3 years with so many new phones coming out every year.

"Ours is called Gradient Black, despite not having any actual black parts - the panel goes from white to dark blue" This is cracked me up!

Aspros, 02 Dec 2018Although atm this phone exists as much as the unicorns, nowhere ... moreIt's available at AliExpress and other online stores/marketplaces. Currently cheapest in pink/red combination.

Although atm this phone exists as much as the unicorns, nowhere to be found.
Maybe someday in 2019 it will be launched and maybe i will get for a secondary device, but i would like to know about its battery the most!

gringo, 02 Dec 2018huawei dropped unlocking bootloader for the dev community ... so... moreI've been using Honor/Huawei for a good while now, and they're clearly the best phones out there. This one looks especially hot, as it has no awful notch.
Neither me nor the other 98% of Honor/Huawei users will care in the slightest about unlockable bootloader or not.

gringo, 02 Dec 2018huawei dropped unlocking bootloader for the dev community ... so... morewell you're not the only type of phone user right? majority are just casual users who dont really care about that. in other words, not really a big loss.

Jai, 02 Dec 2018Honor is not launched in India but youtubers of India have done ... moreIt's most probably either HONOR sponsor them or they buy those smartphones themselves

Good. You have reviewed the Mi Mix 3 & about to review the Honor Magic 2. Now all that's left is the Lenovo Z5 Pro. Please review that too. That is the cheapest slider phone out of the bunch and offers really good specs for the price.

How much the cheapest variant cost?

That beautiful back and AFAIK Magic 2 has wide angle instead of telephoto
Looking forward to complete review
