25000 inr should be the top limit!

I'll wait for reviews for camera quality as HMD has lagged behind in this department in their so called premium smartphones even with Zeiss optics. If it performs well then it can be an option despite its relatively high price tag otherwise what good is a solidly built slab of Aluminium .

₹25k+ will be overpriced for this

M33, 01 Dec 2018Someone to call me after HMD release a true flagship, not m... moreHMD is Finnish company. Not Chinese..

alphadroid, 01 Dec 2018I think the Price of Nokia 8.1/x7 will be INR21000-23000 ... moreHope so,and I don't understand why online sites in India like flipkart and Amazon taking a exchange of Nokia 7 plus, really ridiculous

Suyash, 01 Dec 2018My guess is same around Rs.25k.... Since 7.1 high-end model... more₹20k to ₹23k is acceptable but anything beyond that may be considered a bit expensive

I think the Price of Nokia 8.1/x7 will be INR21000-23000 if they only sold in online like 6.1 plus

Suyash, 01 Dec 2018My guess is same around Rs.25k.... Since 7.1 high-end model... moreSince they will be opting for Android One Program, it is going to cost more, but 4/64 shouldn't go above 22K INR. Ideal price would have been 20K INR, but now that Nokia 7.1 has launched at that price, chances are low. The 6/128 shouldn't be more than 26K INR. For me the ideal price would be 25K INR. This is coming from someone who is looking to buy the phone.

M33, 01 Dec 2018Someone to call me after HMD release a true flagship, not m... moreNokia is Finnish as HMD is a Finnish, they just manufacture their phones in China like most companies in the world. So people understand that Nokia is not a chinese company. Google HMD and Wikipedia will tell you HMD is a Finnish company.

mehtasameer2087, 30 Nov 2018I wonder what the price would be, 7.1 is costing around INR... moreMy guess is same around Rs.25k.... Since 7.1 high-end model is Rs.5000 more than 6.1 plus high-end model..... But I will prefer the starting price to be Rs.23/24k as they are selling it in China for Rs.18k.

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2018Wait, if the 8.1 is the global version of Chinese X7, then ... more8.1 is the global version of X7, there's no concrete information of a separate 7.1 plus in countries where X7 will be launched as 8.1.

I had assumed only .1 plus versions will have notch & .1 without notch. But if both the versions have notch, then what's difference between them? Slight hardware change? Now, all the new phones released have notch. Nokia should have kept at least one version without notch.

Wait, if the 8.1 is the global version of Chinese X7, then what is the 7.1 Plus then? I thought 7.1 Plus was already the global version of X7?

                                Solid midrange phone.

Someone to call me after HMD release a true flagship, not making mid-range phones one after another with confusing names like the rest chinese companies. I know that this is China company, but standing behind Nokia brand, doesn't allow you to do this. There is no point to use big name, if you planning to be just another chinese manufacture.
