SD710 is not premium by any means. Kirin 980 is miles ahead.
I can safely predict that the Nova 4 would be offering the better value of the two. Rest we'll find out from reviews.

As if chinese companies wouldnt almost immediately know whats coming from other manufacturers, then just speed things up to release same kind of device before the one who actually came up with it.

unless lenovo make a bold moves and announce their phone before 10 dec. . but personally idc which company announce it first, i just want to see the product design in real life, either it is acceptable or not to put screen like a dead pixel in smartphone.
