Google an Apple follower.You will only do when Apple does it.Pixel 2 had eSIM,but was never activated.

E aim is fine by me as long as there is an option to have nano SIM card slots in phones as well. This way when you're travelling abroad you can have a data + international number sim and your own phone number for WhatsApp, iMessage, voicemail, etc
