POCO F1 is doing interpolated slow-mo. It's not 960 fps as advertised, but they are using software algorithms (like Twixtor plugin from adobe after effects). The POCO fans are going to hate this. But that is not 960 fps slow-mo. You can tell by the ghosting around the mving objects/parts in the slow-mo part of the video.
Anyone with basic editing skills can tell you that. The contents creators on youtube are paid NOT to tell you that. Sadly, they oblige.

Eg : doing slow motion requires a minumum class 10 sd card or use internal storage instead, which means data from isp directly saved to storage. This time MAYBE use regular RAM as buffer instead of having DRAM

Anonymous, 05 Dec 2018Is it real 960fps?Highly unlikely. Most probably it's software interpolation. I would expect noticable blur and distortion.
Plus nobody asked what resolution it gives this 960fps for. Is it for 1080p, 720p or maybe 480p?

Well, some people want nice screen. Some people also think if the screen shows the information/photo/video they want no matter how washed out, then it's ok. I personally want the best screen available on the market, so no Pocophone F1 for me. But for some people, this phone really is a steal. :)

Marvin, 05 Dec 2018Drop the MIUI Poco crap and just give us Android One. Plus ... moreSlap yourself an Android One-like custom ROM, POCO is Xiaomi's own child and MIUI for POCO is its home. You don't disturb someone else's home.

NFC isn't yet a thing in POCO main target markets, including but not limited to India and Indonesia. We're still happy with QR code as it's pure software that no dedicated hardware required even old phone can enjoy. For sellers, that means more buyer coverage = more income, the heck with security technology.

Unofficial LOS for beryllium already good enough, the only problem is unresponsive touchscreen at times. Well dev already doing something on that, I hope it fixed soon.

Atleast for the next 2-3 years, there's no need of NFC in India, or even later. So it's not a problem here.

Drop the MIUI Poco crap and just give us Android One. Plus Add NFC. It's vital to have it in this day and age when payments, public transportation and public services are all using NFC based methods of ID and validation.

It was an entertainment beast during its time, when no one manages to have a phone with both 4K HDR screen and dual front-facing stereo speakers.
I was also saddened by the removal of the jack, and I wanted to have it back so badly, and until now I still do. If the XZ4 case rumours are to be believed, the jack must have returned (there was a large hole at the top where the jack is usually located on Sony Xperia flagship phones, and it's way too large to only be a cutout for microphone).

But let's not talk about Sony here. You know, people can be toxic at times and bash us here for bringing a somehow unrelated topic to the main article.
