Name another vendor who does that aside from Google itself. Even Motorola fell off that wagon when Lenovo bought them.

Doesn'... moreWisest observation of the day ...but I have a feeling there is a reason the chin is there, either due to needed space for speaker/USB or if it's because Apple has a design patent on screen bleeding all the way down (no chin).

Anonymous, 05 Dec 2018So it seems no Nokia 9 this year?If you knew your customers and non-customers alike were anxiously waiting for a product, would you allow it to leak (more than it already has), or would you keep it as a surprise reveal at your much hyped unveiling event?
Not saying it will be announced for sure but I have high hopes it will, considering the recent leaks and the fact that Nokia/HMD haven't shot down those rumors. With all that's coming out now, it's in their best interest to finally unveil it before those features start looking like the "norm."

Y nobody is making a chinless, only top bezel phone? Doesn't it look good?? Haven't seen that design.. that would be something different. instead of notch make top bezel and remove chin.. that's my thought. That might be ugly as well...
I want nokia 7 plus with regular 16:9 aspect ratio and 5.5 inch display and less bezel.

I don't care about notch. Does it has NFC? At least, Nokia 6.1 global version has it even though China version doesn't.

Well, to GSMArena
Nokia 7.1Plus actually has wide notch, but GSMArena data has mixed content of 7.1 as well as 7.1Plus with them, putting them as well as others in confusion
The photo section for Nokia 7.1Plus (X7) contains photos of 2 different devices, one is Nokia 7.1 and another is 7.1Plus.... also the main representing picture on site for Nokia 7.1Plus is wrongly put of Nokia 7.1
