Grabbe... moreHmm I wouldn’t use Aukey's if you ask me.. my mate’s iPhone now has 98% battery capacity mine is still at 100% using the official apple 30W charger and cable .. yes it cost more but at least my battery is in better shape :) he used a Aukey's power bank.. with usb c to lighting..

Can confirm that Aukey PD charger works pretty well. Grabbed it in combination with Aukey's USB-C to USB-C cable.

Iv also replaced an iphone 6 battery and realised with all the adhesives and Tiny connectors, a novice would risk doing more damage. Others would just change their phones while select few probably would take it to a shop to get battery replaced. It can be done it's easy for experienced people like urself but not for alot of others. If only batteries were made to fit in a slot where they can be clipped out and replaced. But oems wouldn't do that as people would stick with same phones and not replace them. It's not only apple who may annoy people with their policies. Every oem can do more for customers but money talks

As a Smartphone/iPhone technician, I replace more iPhone batteries than any other brand, Samsung being a close second (especially Note 5, S6/S6 Edge, S7/S7 Edge since those phones are aging and are starting to need new cells). Replacing an iPhone battery is not that tough, but if you don’t wanna rick damaging your device, take it to an authorized service provider. NEVER USE BATTERIES THAT AREN’T ZERO-CYCLE OEM CELLS!! I recently replaced a battery for a client who went to Cellaris for a replacement and refused to replace it when it turned out to be a bad cell. First of all, they used double sided tape instead of the pull-tab adhesive strips that you’re supposed to use, and when removing the battery the casing tore and burned a hole in my spudging tool. Apple charged $89, but since they got caught throttling devices, they’ve lowered the price to a more reasonable $29. I always charged $50, but since Apple dropped their prices, I did the same and went to $29 as well.
Better to pay under $100 for a new battery than to buy a new phone like you suggested, wether it be an Android device or an iPhone.
The thing is, Android devices don't cripple their processor's clock speed when the battery drops below 85% of the original capacity. Using the iPhone 6 & 6S for example, the stock clock speeds of the A8 (6) and A9 (6S) are 1.4GHz and 1.85GHz respectively. When the battery hits 89% of original capacity, the ‘Battery Health’ (Settings -> Battery -> Battery Health) readout says “Peak Performance Capacity”, but that’s NOT true. Through extensive testing and monitoring, the following is a list of the max clock speed triggered by the stated percentage on the iPhone 6S:
90-100% - Stock (1.85GHz)
85-89% - 1.05GHz
81-84% - 850MHz
80% and lower - 600MHz
Remember, the device STATES that it’s still at “Peak Performance” at any capacity above 80%. 850MHz is PAINFUL on an iPhone!!
My point is that replacing the battery on an iPhone will actually make your device faster, as the throttling “feature” is now baked into iOS. You’re correct about batteries not lasting forever, do just replace your battery!! People buying new devices every year is one of the major contributing factors to global electronics pollution.
* This “feature” was implemented shortly after Apple got caught slowing devices down due to battery degradation, which is not a terrible idea, HOWEVER, Apple hiding this from iPhone owners for so long IS a problem. This “feature” can be disabled by the user only after the phone has slowed to a crawl. Technically speaking, 75% original capacity (1357.5 mAh for the 6 & 1286.25 mAh for 6S) would be a capacity that may justify throttling the processor, but NOT to the clock speeds that Apple has forced on iPhone users.
So do your part, replace your battery.

Nokia phones also don't come with fast chargers and now u will say they not the same Nokia from before. Always got something irrelevant to say. Sony phones are still decent and are still being made. They not dead yet.
Also more to the point, iphones have fast charging capabilities and they use slower chargers. Batteries degrade faster with fast charging.
If only apple did fast charging then u would use this same valid point as an excuse. It is proven that fast charging reduces the life of a battery so enjoy replacing ur phone within 2 years :D

Same is with android news where apple fans go to complain copy this and that.
For my 150 euro phone didnt come fast charger with it but well at least the phone has the feature and i got my fast charger for 7 euro. Only problem with the phone is that it's too big in size 6inch screen. For my use of a phone i dont need more then 5.5 inch screen, but if thats 5.5 then it needs to be bezelless and no taller then 140mm. For a 5inch screen 125mm would be the most maximum. Apple only good this is that they still have small usable phones but not even there 3 years old models are not worth to buy cause you get more out of 200 euro phone then you get 3 years old iphone that cost 400+ euro.
I am not a fanboy of any brand or operation system. Before smartphone i had either Nokia or Ericsson phones (Before Sony bought them). They just were only brands on the market and i didnt like Motorola and Alcatel that were also in the market. My first smartphone was Samsung Galaxy gio and after that i moved on to windows phone lumia 520
For my needs from phone dont justify to pay more then 200 euro for a phone. And when i need new phone, then for sure i wont look old models or older then 6 months. Apple knows that i am the kind of market from who they cant milk money from, so they set so high price for them and sell less devices.

U may be having fun but many others who need to get a life, carry the hate everyday for Apple (a phone company). So if ur in a hurry then a fast charger would be useless too as u would wait at least half an hour till its fully charged. But if u have a power bank then u can go on ur way with a dead battery a battery will also degrade much quicker when using a fast charger

What if you were impatient and wanted a full battery fast? The fast charger was intended to compensate for those problems, which most people have. Even though a lot people charge their phones overnight, it is not optimal to do so as the battery will degrade.
