U don't say :v, 07 Dec 2018At least it is better than f/2.3 lens 48MP 1/5" sensor, ... moreSo crazy, this setup would require ISO 2048000 to match the amount of light gathered by a 12MP camera (1/3.6" sensor, 1.12um pixels, OIS, f/1.8 lens) at ISO 50.

Lyndino, 08 Dec 2018Can you tell me why? I thought the more ram the better?Let me answer your question,

Smartphone footprint always designed with single hand use. Android or IOS in iphone, also designed to use one apps at a time.. and with last features on Nougat android can use split screen 2 apps running at same time.

    1. Battery
Good Quality apps which need good amount of RAM will make battery drain faster (like google who always check your location for better suggestion and route)
Lots of opened Apps will also make battery drain faster, because it active and use smartphone resources.

    2. Productivity
Smartphone is secondary device to help productivity, there is laptop with larger screen and designed for multi tasking.. in example : photo editor, i will hapily use smartphone to edit single photo, with nice effect. But if i need to edit 200 photo, i will use my lightroom in PC which use lot of RAM available. And make my workflow become far more efficient.

    3. Display
Lets we try to use large display like Mi Max to do multitasking. we use 2 apps at the same time.. and try to enjoy it after you get spoil with large display for one apps only. I will chose faster switch apps than split screen. And i will choose use multi display on my laptop or PC and i need those overkill RAM for that.. i dont need 10GB RAM for just switch between 2 or 3 current apps available continuously.

    4. Apps
Now check your phone, which apps use lot of RAM ? In my case Facebook and UCBrowser : it use almost 300Mb each and both drain my battery faster, so i uninstall both apps, and looking the lightest browser available.

    5. Gaming
Seriously, when i do gaming in my phone,.. i dont want to get distraction for any apps, and As per today which game use RAM bigger than 1GB ? 1/10 from this 10Gigs RAM, As a gamer, i will choose better GPU and CPU with smaller RAM rather than weaker GPU and bigger RAM. And stellar battery life is a must (check no 1).

Now i ask you do you need more RAM for current Android OS ?, I dont want to pay more for spec that i never use.

10GB's not enough we need 128GB RAM and 256TB ROM

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2018A phone doesn't need this much RAM, ffs. It's meant for better future-proof, man. Longer future updates (Only if vivo really did it), and if it's not, at least for longer usability for 3-5 yrs more.

Also, why we keep protesting even for a good moves? It's a flagship phone, so best of the best parts are important (cough cough Apple)

How does the in display speaker sound with a screen protector stuck on the front?

Microsoft hinted, that they won't make mobile phones ever again.

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2018Sounds like the Samsung of old, cramming the best available... moreThat's why Samsung grew big, then greed took over and their offering as of late as been less then drule-inspiring. Hopefully at least one of the several S10 versions will fix that.

                          F/1.3??? Woah. That's really bright!
